Hello! Tom was the 2015 honoree at the sixth annual Irvine Public Schools Foundation gala and auction on Saturday, October 17! From ocregister.com:

“The sixth annual Irvine Public Schools Foundation gala and auction Saturday raised more than $425,000 for Irvine schools.

More than 350 community leaders, parents, educators and others attended the event, held at Kia Motors headquarters in Irvine, in support of the Irvine Unified School District.

The black-tie event kicked off at 5:30 p.m. with a red carpet arrival, followed by a cocktail reception and silent auction.

During dinner, Tom Dumont, the No Doubt guitarist who graduated from Woodbridge High in 1986, was recognized with the Spirit of Excellence in Music award. Two other No Doubt members, Tony Kanal and drummer Adrian Young, surprised Dumont by attending the gala and presenting him with the award.

The Voice promos

Sunday, August 30th, 2015

Hello! The Voice shared a new video to YouTube a few days ago entitled “What I Did on My Summer Vacation”. It’s pretty cute:

A press conference was held on the 26th in Los Angeles. From USA Magazine:

the voice

“Team Voice! On Wednesday, Aug. 26, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani hit the red carpet in Los Angeles to do a day of press for the upcoming season of their hit NBC show The Voice — their first official appearances for the show since their respective splits earlier this summer.

The two stars, coming off their recent breakups from wife Miranda Lambert and husband Gavin Rossdale, respectively, looked stunning at the event. The pair posed for group shots with host Carson Daly and fellow coaches Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams.

Shelton, 39, was all smiles in his signature blue jeans and plaid button-up shirt. The recently divorced country star wasn’t wearing his wedding band. The “Hollaback Girl” singer, 45, wore her platinum blonde locks in a topknot and looked trim in a white, black, and red shirt and skirt combo.

Stefani also ditched her wedding ring, opting to instead wear a series of rings that covered her hands.

“Gwen seems sad,” an eyewitness from The Voice set previously told Us. “Blake, on the other hand, seems to have moved on from Miranda and is just over it.”

Though the first few weeks of the reality competition show are pre-taped, the newly single celebs will make their live show debuts later this fall.

The Voice premieres Monday, Sept. 21, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.”

The Voice 9th season preview

Thursday, August 20th, 2015

Hello! From Entertainment Weekly:

the-voice-ew

“As NBC’s The Voice prepares for its ninth season this fall, EW has your exclusive first look at what fans can expect — including Gwen Stefani’s return to the red swivel chair.

In this exclusive clip, Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams reflect on the spirit of the NBC series. And while the contest may be fierce, there appears to be nothing but love between the coaches as they gear up to judge a fresh batch of talented hopefuls.

“This is a show that allows us to show these people how special they are and what good they can do in the world if they just continue to believe in themselves,” Williams says.

Stefani announced she would be returning to the music competition back in June, saying, “I’m coming back and am so excited! I can’t believe I get to return to The Voice. It’s so inspiring to be around such incredible talent and music. I’m looking forward to working again with Adam, Blake and Pharrell. I love those guys.”

Recently, The Voice added several performers to its advisor roster. Selena Gomez, Brad Paisley, and John Fogerty have all signed on to be team advisors, along with Rihanna, who will act as a key advisor to all of the judges this season.

Check out the exclusive first-look photo and clip above before The Voice returns Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.”
